About Us
Ngāti Whare Holdings Limited is the investment vehicle of Ngāti Whare iwi, wholly owned by Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Whare. The Company was established in 2009 as a vehicle to receive and manage settlement redress received from the Crown as part of the Treaty of Waitangi settlement. Ngāti Whare Holdings Limited is lead by Group CEO Mere George and supported by Earl Rewi as Deputy CEO and Mel Katting as Business Coordinator.
Area's of Investment
Ngāti Whare Holdings Limited has a diverse portfolio. The Company operates with strategy of making direct investments in primary sector activities and diversifying its exposure where possible. In recent years the company has grown significantly from having several managed funds, forestry, fisheries investments to also having several complementary primary industry subsidiaries.
